Course Description:
Sponsored by the Rotary Club. This park offers a variety of challenges. Corridors of trees, a stream splitting the park in two, holes that stretch over 300 yrds. Maps posted at every cemented tee, heavy duty steel baskets (painted yellow). Trees with branches seem to reach out & swat at your disc as it attempts to navigate the landscape with heavy breezes blowing across the wide open areas located along the outer rim of the park. Forgiving par ratings on a few holes can offer opportunity for birdies. This course forces you to be creative and/or bold with your drives but tends to open up in the putting areas, for the most part. Overall challenging and just plain "fun" course to play.
Course Location:
Hampton, IA. 45 mins south of Mason City. I-65 runs right through town. The Rotary Disc Golf Course is at Hampton's East Park located on east edge of town just off the main strip.
