Course Description: De Laveaga disc golf course is one of the most challenging disc golf courses in the country. With 28 holes it is also one of the longest courses. The course is in the Santa Cruz foothills above the De Laveaga golf course. This disc golf course can be crowded on weekends.
Course Location: From San Jose take HWY 17 to HWY 1 South in Santa Cruz. Take the Morrissey Blvd exit and turn right on Fairmount Ave. Turn right on N Branciforte Ave. Go over the freeway, the road will veer to the right and becomes De Laveaga Dr. Take a left at Upper Park Rd which goes directly through the De Laveaga golf course. Continue beyond the golf course until you reach a large dirt parking area on the right. The first hole is up to the left as you approach the parking lot. If you are driving from the south on HWY 1, take the Morrissey Blvd exit and turn right onto Pacheco Ave. Turn left onto Prospect Heights. Turn Right on Upper Park Rd which goes directly through the De Laveaga golf course. Continue beyond the golf course until you reach a large dirt parking area on the right. The first hole is up to the left as you approach the parking lot.
